See, our church has been in existence a little over 20 years. And for almost all of those little over 20 years, we've been partnering with an orphanage in Cap Haitian, Haiti. We know their names, their stories, their dreams. Once a year we buy their shoes. And more than once a year, if the political climate permits, we send teams down there to continue that 20 some odd year relationship.
I'm taking with me some of my favorite students. Yeah, I know, I'm not allowed to have favorites, and God doesn't, but I'm just not that godly. Also, one of my really close friends moved down to live and work at that orphanage in September, so I'm really looking forward to spending time with her as well. Here are some pictures from previous trips just so you can get as excited as I am.
